VPS Not Responding

Troubleshooting VPS Connectivity

If you cannot connect to your VPS, follow these steps to check its status. Contact technical support if the VPS remains unresponsive.

1. Check Connectivity with Ping

Use the ping command in your terminal or Command Prompt to verify if your VPS is responding to requests.
Example of a successful ping response:
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=6118 ttl=56 time=30.835 ms
For more information on using the ping command, refer to your operating system’s documentation.

2. Reboot the VPS

Verify if the VPS responds to ping requests.
Log in to the VPS Panel and locate your server under Virtual Machines.
If the VPS is offline, use the Reboot function to start the instance.
If the VPS is online but inaccessible via SSH, try connecting through the VNC console to begin troubleshooting.

3. Use VNC or Serial Console to View Boot Sequence

Log in to the VPS Panel.
Use the VNC or Serial Console options to access the server directly.
    This allows you to:
  • View the server startup sequence.
  • Administer the server in offline mode, and perform rescue operations with attached ISO media.
